These are some pictures of my art project that I made with some of Grandpa's old photos from the 1920's through the late 1930's. There are also some pictures of my Mom's family from the 1950's/1960's. Tell me what you think!
First, I had to go to Walgreens and make copies of ALL of these pictures! It took an hour and a half. It was better than destroying the originals though...
Then I grabbed a 16 x 20 canvas (I think it was 16 x 20) and two 8 x 10 canvases and painted them black. I bought some plain white buttons to put randomly in between the pictures. After attaching the pictures with double sided tape onto the canvas, I went back through and sewed all the pictures on to the canvases...
Here is the final result!...

I can't wait for our house to finally be in order so I can get back to crafting things like that, too.
I love them much! and you know it was longer than an hour and a half... ha! =o)
